Julius Caesar
He was in the position from 49BC - March 15, 44 BC. Julius was a well liked man and he was known as many things. For example he was a dictator for ten years and a consul for five. He was also a general, statesman, lawgiver, jurist, orator, poet, historian, philologist, mathematician, and an architect.
Caesar also had many accomplishments including the capture of Gaul which extended Rome’s boundaries, Caesar invaded England In 54 B.C. and defeated the English army, he was also was chosen to be the high priest of Jupiter and given the title of Flamen Dialis, and many more.
